Evolution Tennis Policy

Court Hire

  • Online – evolutiontennis.com.au preferred booking method, go straight to your court unless you need equipment, balls or drinks from the clubhouse.

  • Pay on the day – Patrons must pay at the clubhouse before playing.

  • Only Evolution Tennis coaches are permitted to conduct coaching sessions. 

  • Patrons are to observe their arrival and departure times and are only allowed to extend their time on court if paid for in advance or if they have received approval from management.

Coaching

All regular tennis coaching follows the public school term. This is generally a 10 week term. This includes private, semi private, group lessons and squads. If you wish to continue private lessons through holiday periods, please discuss and arrange with your private coach.


Cancellations

Court Hire

  • A booking credit will be issued to all bookings canceled with 8 hours notice or more. Any cancellations made within 8 hours of your booking will not be eligible for a credit.

Group Lessons

  • Group lessons are a full school term commitment and we do not offer refunds, credits or makeups when you are unable to attend a lesson.

Advanced Squads

  • Any cancellations made within 24 hours will not be offered a makeup lesson. If you are unable to attend and have provided us with 24 hours notice or more, squad lessons can be made up with a maximum of 2 make ups per term. 

Private Lessons

  • Any cancellations made within 8 hours will be counted as a lesson and will not be made up.

  • If you are unable to attend a lesson and have provided us with 8 hours notice or more, a makeup lesson will be arranged with your coach.

Wet/Extreme Weather

Court Hire

  • Court hire bookings will be given a credit voucher if courts are unplayable due to weather. Court playability is at the discretion of Evolution Tennis management. Please call us on 0411 841 902 if unsure whether or not your booking time can go ahead due to bad weather.

Tennis Lessons

  • All group, squad and private lessons will be made up or given a credit if they are unable to go ahead due to wet or hot (+37 degrees at our centre) weather. This decision is made by Evolution Tennis & cancellations will be made via SMS as early as possible.

  • If a group or squad class has commenced and has to be cancelled before 50% of the lesson has been completed, a make up or credit will be given.

  • If a group or squad class has commenced and 50% or more of the lesson has been completed, no make up or credit will be given.

  • Private lessons will be invoiced according to how much of the lesson was completed. 

    • For 30 minute privates, if 15 minutes or more is completed, it will be invoiced as a full half an hour.

    • For 1 hour privates, if 15-40 minutes is completed, half an hour will be invoiced.

    • If 40 minutes or more is completed, 1 hour will be invoiced. 

Lesson Payments

  • Fees are to be paid no later than the end of the first week of the term. If fees are not paid by the due date, your lesson will not be guaranteed and the spot can be released.
